What's new

Adds an entity blacklist/whitelist, monster personalities, and a new item - plus a long list of fixes for mobs that did not behave once they became yours.

Added

  • Entity filter: exclude or allow specific mobs or whole mods, from the config file or from a datapack. Excluded mobs disappear from recruiting, fusion, the arena and the bestiary
  • Personalities: nine of them, +12% to one stat and -12% to another, decided when you recruit and inherited from a parent through fusion. No hidden IVs
  • Luring Meat: feed it to a wild mob and that one mob is 2x (or 4x) more likely to join you. It lasts until the mob dies and does not stack
  • Saddles, horse armour, chests and tamed state now persist when you put a monster away
  • Babies are kept instead of being grown up - a rare variant
  • Monsters are summoned beside you instead of inside you

Changed

  • Levelling matters much more: about 3.4x at Tier 1 up to 6x at Tier 5 by level 50, where it used to be 2x for everyone. Defence now grows additively, so species with no armour value benefit too
  • Summon and Put Away are one button beside the panel, showing the name of the monster that is out
  • Duel invitations are answered from chat, and only nearby players are listed
  • A countdown appears in the centre of the screen before an arena fight

Fixed

  • Crash when summoning mobs without an attack damage attribute (squid, cows)
  • Tiers were skewed high; mobs with no attack power are Tier 1 now
  • Summoned monsters could be hit by other players, dropped loot, and were left behind in the world when the server stopped or the owner logged out
  • Vexes, ghast fireballs and wither skulls ignored the friendly-fire and block-protection rules
  • Hoglins turned into zoglins and attacked their owner
  • A summoned warden's darkness hit every player around it
  • A summoned wither fired at random bystanders
  • Wardens and piglins would not fight at all (they use brains, not goals)
  • Skeleton horses could not be ridden
  • Monsters of different owners fought each other outside the arena
  • A monster that had been knocked out came back with almost no health
  • Fused monsters that a recipe had toned down reverted to full strength when used as an ingredient
  • The UI was cut off at large GUI scales; panels now shrink and scroll
