Quantum Block Bazaar 1.29 (NeoForge 1.21.1)
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Quantum Block Bazaar 1.29
This update rolls up everything since the last published build (1.26): the 1.27 safety fixes, the 1.28 quality-of-life pass, and the 1.29 economy, settings, and quest overhaul. Requires NeoForge 21.1.194 or newer on Minecraft 1.21.1.
Difficulty presets & settings
- New in-terminal Settings page for server hosts and operators: pick marketplace presets (
Generous/Standard/Scarce) and quest presets (Relaxed/Standard/Challenging). Regular players never see the server settings — they get a personal Preferences page instead, and all changes are validated server-side. - Existing configs migrate automatically to schema v2 with a backup; custom multipliers, per-item overrides, and excludes are preserved.
/qbb settings show|setfor command-based administration.
Terminal & chest quality of life
- The terminal opens on a main menu: Market, Quest Board, Transaction Log, and Settings. Row clicks select; explicit One / Stack / Max buttons transact.
- Sell All, pinned favorites, category filter, search (
/or Ctrl+F,@modfiltering), transaction history (last 50), completion toasts, and buy/sell price tooltips (JEI-friendly, no dependency required). - Auto-sell chest: one-click Me owner button, and a client-side toggle to mute routine payout chat messages.
Economy correctness & safety
- Credits, transaction history, and banked auto-sell earnings now use exact fixed-point arithmetic — no more floating-point drift; legacy balances migrate automatically.
- Auto-sell chests no longer delete items or lose banked credits: earnings bank while the owner is offline, and a broken chest's drop preserves its owner and pending balance. Only an unclaimed chest or its current owner can change ownership.
- Quest turn-in validates the full amount before consuming anything and only ever consumes clean, unmodified stacks from your main inventory — equipment and customized items are safe.
- Dedicated-server clients now always see server-authoritative prices, and admin economy commands require operator permission (LAN guests are rejected).
- QBB blocks drop themselves when mined and have proper pickaxe mining tags.
Quests & market events
- Quest boards and market events run on monotonic game time, so disabled daylight cycling or
/time setcan no longer stall them. - Hunt rewards are deterministic from the target's stats and quantity; quest rerolls with preset-driven costs and caps.
- Fresh worlds generate a full quest board on day one.
Modded item catalog
- 513 newly reviewed modded item prices — the catalog now covers 3,246 items across 96 mods, including Twilight Forest, Cataclysm, Deeper and Darker, Aether, Farmer's Delight, BYG, Supplementaries, Waystones, Create, Mekanism, and Refined Storage. Missing optional mods are skipped gracefully.
For addon developers
- First iteration of the stable marketplace API: register immutable buy-only offers with namespaced IDs, exact prices, and typed categories.
