Personatour's "Quality of Items"

Personatour's Quality of Items is a survival focused utility mod that aims to make "lesser" materials, items, and features more sought after and integral to the Minecraft Experience! Copper, Amethyst, Wandering Traders, Various Food Items, Crops, and many more have received numorous new features and balancing overhauls.  During the creation of this mod, i consulted the Mojang Official Minecraft Development Rulebook in order to greenlight any items added as well as make each addition feel as vanilla as possible.

Dried Cactus Woodset is the first and least noteworthy introduction to Quality of Items. It is obtained by placing cactus wood on a campfire or using a Copper Saw on a cactus.

Copper Wired Bars is the second and final block added to Quality of Items. This functions as an alternative to iron/copper bars, less for decoration and more for functionality. these are a bit costly to make, requiring a hefty amount of copper to craft, although it acts as a "Barbed Wire" esc fence that damages any mob that makes contact with it. It has also been coded to be invisible to Mob Pathfinding AI so that mobs will walk into it while attempting to approach you.

Copper Nails are a small yet noteworthy addition which are used in various crafting copper related crafting recipes.

Copper Saws are a high maintenance multi-tool that can be used on any block type, including miscellanious ones. The Catch is that it has a 0.4s cooldown in between each block mined, meaning it is more useful for tougher blocks and building, rather then using it as a tool for every day use. The Copper Saw oxidizes over time, making its cooldown larger for every stage of Rust.

Copper Coins are a Cheap Currency obtained by putting Copper Ingots in a stone cutter, carving them into Coins. These Coins are used exclusively by Wandering Traders, which take these coins for various items depending on what material has been trimmed onto the coin.

Coins can be made more valuable to wandering traders by the following materials:

- Emerald

-Redstone

-Diamond

AMETHYST

Amethyst Aggregates are a crafting item made with 9 amethyst shards, used to craft various amethyst related recipes.

Amethyst Apple

These are an alternative to the golden apple, crafted with 9 Amethyst and 1 apple. These take longer to eat than any other food item, but they restore you to full health. and remove negative status effects including burning.

Amethyst Dagger

Amethyst Daggers are a weapon crafted with 1 Amethyst Aggregate, 2 Copper Nails, and 1 Copper Ingot for the hilt. Amethyst Daggers have a lower base damage of 5.5 attack damage, but they have the fastest attack speed out of any weapon in minecraft. These can be Upgraded to Netherite to increase its damage to 6.5.

Amethyst Dagger (Chimed)
Chimed Amethyst Daggers Lower the Daggers Attack Damage to 4.5 upon crafting, although it introduces a unique Chimed Stun mechanic to the dagger. if an enemy is hit with a Chimed Amethyst Dagger, they will be shortly and temporarily stunned by the ringing of the dagger. (This completely stops the entities momentum and locks them in place) - If this is used on a player, the Chimed Amethyst Dagger will be placed on a 1.5 second cooldown to balance it out.

Bottled Amethyst

Amethyst Aggregates can be placed inside of a bottle to craft Bottled Amethyst, which grants the "Chimed" Status effect. If a mob dies with the chimed status effect, they will drop 1.5x more XP. if a Player receives the chimed effect however, they will gain 2x more experience as orbs are collected. This status effect only lasts for 59 seconds, so make every second count! Keep in mind however that if sculk is used with the Bottled Amethyst, Chimed's Duration will be reduced to 15s if not already there. 

FOOD RELATED CHANGES:

Satisfied is a new status effect granted by less sought after food items. It acts as the Regeneration status effect, but it slowly fills your Hunger + Saturation points rather than your health.


Cookies now grant Satisfied

Cake now grants Satisfied III

Baked Beetroot Soup grants Satisfied II


Rabbit Soup has had its saturation value increased to 12.

Beetroot soup saturates slightly more and can be cooked into Baked Beetroot soup, which can be stacked to 16.

Glistering Melons are now Edible, and they grant Regeneration II.
