QOL: Quirks, Optics, Locations for JourneyMap

A little more out of your map.

QOL is an unofficial addon for JourneyMap that adds useful mapping features, better exploration tools, and a few things you didn't know your map was missing.

The goal is simple: make JourneyMap even more useful without changing what makes it great.

What's planned?

• Biome exploration: Find and visualize biomes directly on your map, including those added by worldgen mods.
• Structure discovery: Search for structures and display available information through map overlays.
• Topographic maps: Get a better understanding of terrain, elevation, and the world around you.
• Custom map layers: Switch between different types of information without cluttering your map.
• Extensibility: A foundation for additional features and integrations with other mods.

QOL is designed to feel like a natural extension of JourneyMap, rather than a separate mapping tool.

Development

QOL is currently in development. Features and compatibility may change as the project evolves.

The mod aims to work with both vanilla and modded worlds. Available map information depends on the world and what data the game or server makes accessible.
