v0.0.5 Changelog:
Mindscape Mechanic added:
The silence hidden beneath the noise. Maintain mental stability at all times.
- Hold V (Default) to enter
- Health must be at 100%
- Sanity must be at 100%
- E.G.O. cannot be active
- Some beings will prevent you regardless of your state...
Dodging Added:
- Press B (Default) to dodge in your movement direction.
- Backstep if not currently moving.
- I-Frames are given on dodge.
- Can be improved with Temperance or Justice. (I'm still designing that system, so I haven't decided which yet. Not implemented currently.)
General Changes & Additions:
- Advancement for obtaining abnormality E.G.O. added (ALEPH, ZAYIN, etc.).
- Advancement for obtaining individual E.G.O. added (Currently, you just get Waxen upon load. This will obviously change once the obtainment is made.)
- Advancement for entering Mindscape added.
- E.G.O. is now properly handled on death. Pieces are reverted to their base forms on death. This works with and without keep inventory.
- E.G.O. gear now tells you in the tooltip if you are able to enable E.G.O. or not.
- E.G.O. is now tied to advancements. If you don't have the corresponding advancement, you cannot use that E.G.O.
Hey guys.
Sorta major update.
Couple things I wanted to explain.
Mindscape is the area where you will be able to upgrade stats like Fortitude, Prudence, etc. There will be a structure at 0,0 where you will be able to do this. I'm not the best builder, so I didn't finish it in time for today.
Mindscape is also an area where some fights will take place. The bottom layer (Where you currently arrive if you enter in this update) is a place some abnormalities might bring you. You will be locked in Mindscape until one of you dies. There are a couple other instances where you cannot enter / leave Mindscape, but... you don't need to know those right now.
Dodging! Yup.
I figured that combat was going to be a lot faster once I get to making the fights, so this came to mind. It's in a very basic state right now, but I'll be working on it as combat as a whole is expanded upon.
Anyways, see you guys next update.
