Combat & Mechanics Preview

Wake up, Asset.
Combat.
Combat in Qliphoth Protocol isn't like normal Minecraft. Every single weapon has an ability, even the weaker ones. This isn't a mindless M1 spam system anymore.
It's a mindless M2 spam... Wait-
This mod incorporates seven different damage types:
RED: Typeless physical trauma.
WHITE: Mental damage dealt directly towards your SP.
BLACK: Dual-hybrid type damage dealt equally between your health and SP.
PALE: Percentage-based health damage. Rare, but absolutely lethal.
And additionally, physical damage is split between:
SLASH
PIERCE
BLUNT
RED is not the same as these physical damage types. Expect RED from less... human opponents.
Factions are also involved in Qliphoth Protocol (Not currently implemented in the mod).

Factions do not grant exclusive gear, but they do make it far easier to get certain gear.
Bullets, for example.
You can kill a Thumb Soldato, or you can join up. 
E.G.O., of course, is also going to play a major factor in this mod.
Currently, I can't say much. Most of the mechanics there are still being designed.
What I can say, is that the types of E.G.O. that will be included are:
Abnormality E.G.O.
Effloresced E.G.O.
Corrosion / Low SP mechanics
Distortion mechanics![]()
And lastly, stats are also included in this mod.
Fortitude (Max Health): 20 HP -> 24 HP -> 28 HP -> 32 HP -> 36 HP -> 40 HP (EX)
Prudence (Max Sanity): 30 SP -> 45 SP -> 65 SP -> 85 SP -> 100 SP -> 120 SP (EX)
Temperance (Dodge Power): 0.4 -> 0.5 -> 0.6 -> 0.7 -> 0.8 -> 1.0 (EX)
Justice (Movement Speed): 0.100 -> 0.103 -> 0.106 -> 0.110 -> 0.115 -> 0.120 (EX)

What exactly is this? (Or rather, "What will this be?")
Qliphoth Protocol is planned to be a complete overhaul in Minecraft to bring Project Moon's universe into Minecraft.
This won't exactly be based on a singular game, and is rather a combination of them with a slight spin. While a majority of the mod will be stuff directly from the games, there will still be original(ish) content. 
Most of that will revolve around the Assets and the Qliphoth Protocol itself. Both of which you will learn about throughout the mod. I'll try not to make the story block content for those who just want to mess around (I completely understand), but no promises.
Currently, the mod is in a very early state. Survival progression is not in and won't be in for a while. I'm building all of the systems I will need first, then getting into the actual content. Most of this has been finished, but... well. Just look at the version number. It is going to be a while.
If you want something a bit more specific:
- Most abnormalities from the games will be added.
- Most E.G.O. (Abnormality or otherwise) will be added.
- Sanity will be added for players and humanoid entities.
- Corrosion is added (and will expanded upon).
- Distortion will be added (Both for the player and entities).
Limbus stuff isn't really a priority to me, just to be clear. That's not to say I won't reference new lore from Limbus. I already have. I more mean specific characters / events unique to Limbus, not greater worldbuilding. The aftermath of Lob. Corp. and Ruina are the main things I'm focusing on, and the general timeframe where the mod takes place in.
Because of the scale of this mod, it is likely to not play well with other mods. I can't really account for all of these cases, so just keep that in mind. If it is something like JEI not working, I'll definitely fix that. I also have (and will continue to have) configs and commands to toggle some visual elements.
Prefer to use FancyMenu? Just toggle the main menu change in the config file. That's all you have to do.
