Welcome to Pyro Pal, my 3rd mod. Pyro Pal is about a tameable Phoenix that you can trade 7 emeralds for, with a Wandering Trader.
What can the Phoenix do?
As a being of light, it naturally will go off and hunt hostile entities. They are immune to fire and lava.
The Phoenix has a custom Phoenix Breath attack, which launches fireballs at Hostile Entities in the area. It will not do this whilst tamed + sitting on the ground. Its' abilities also deal no damage to ambient/tamed mobs, nor other players or blocks. Do let me know in the comments if there is some sort of griefing I have missed!
The Phoenix's abilities scale alongside the Players' level. The damage increases, the fire rate increases and the amount of Phoenix Breaths used per attack can scale up to 3.
Tame and heal the Phoenix with Coal or Charcoal. Have the Phoenix perch on your head by doing Shift + Right Click. To un-perch it, hold down Shift whilst jumping. Whilst perched, the Phoenix will carry on using Phoenix Breath against hostiles.
You cannot have more than 1 Phoenix perching on your head.
