Style Mod
Style Mod is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft PvP, inspired by ULTRAKILL. Earn style points with confirmed hits, keep your combo alive, climb the ranks from D to ULTRAKILL, and see your score when you defeat a player.
How it works
- Confirmed attacks award style points. The HUD only reacts to hits confirmed by the server.
- Your combo meter decays over time. Its level sets your rank and the multiplier applied to style points.
- Movement speed also affects points gained and lost.
- Taking damage reduces style and breaks your sprint-hit combo.
- The jump-reset timer grades your jump timing after combat damage. Optional ping compensation shifts its timing windows.
- A kill displays your total style score. Reset behavior on kills, deaths, and gamemode changes is configurable.
- The combo bar animates smoothly and briefly pulses when you gain style.
Style rewards
Values below are base points, before combo and speed multipliers.
| Action | Base points |
|---|---|
| Confirmed hit | +25 |
| Ranged hit | +50 |
| Sprint hit | +100 |
| Critical hit | +50 |
| Shield break (axe or mace) | +100 |
| Mace hit | +300, scaling up to +600 with fall distance |
| Kill | +200 and an on-screen score banner |
| Taking damage | −75, adjusted by movement speed |
Sprint-hit combo
Land confirmed sprint hits on the same target within 2.2 seconds to build a streak. The HUD labels them SPRINT HIT x1, SPRINT HIT x2, and so on; each hit awards +100 base points. The streak ends when you take damage, hit a different target, land a non-sprint hit, stop sprinting, or let the continuation window expire.
Jump reset
Taking combat damage opens a short timing window. Jump timing determines the grade and style result:
| Grade | Result |
|---|---|
| PERFECT | +80 |
| GOOD | +40 |
| LATE | −15 |
| EARLY | −25 |
| MISSED | −35 |
The HUD timer shows the timing zones. Optional ping compensation shifts the timing scale using average tab-list ping while keeping zone widths fixed. Jump reset and ping compensation can be toggled in the config.
Ranks
D → C → B → A → S → SS → SSS → ULTRAKILL
The ULTRAKILL rank unlocks before the combo meter is completely full.
