Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Pulse Radar 1.2.0
This update increases the default radar range and introduces configuration migration support.
Changes
- Increased the default radar range from 100 blocks to 1,000 blocks
- Added configuration versioning for future updates
- Added automatic migration for existing Pulse Radar configurations
- Existing installations using the previous default range are upgraded automatically
- Updated the mod version to 1.2.0
Important Range Information
Pulse Radar can only display entities already known to the Minecraft client. Multiplayer servers commonly stop sending player and mob data at a much shorter distance.
The 1,000-block range does not:
- Scan unloaded chunks
- Request additional entity locations
- Bypass server tracking or visibility restrictions
- Reveal vanished or hidden players
The effective radar distance depends on the server’s view distance, entity-tracking settings, plugins, and performance mods.
