Public Safety: Fear & Contracts brings the fear-driven world of Chainsaw Man into Minecraft survival.

Encounter devils born from fear, make dangerous contracts, become a fiend or hybrid, discover Public Safety, explore rare structures, and survive a world where power always comes with a cost.

The main idea is simple:

You interact with this mod in two ways.

You choose to.
Or you do not get a choice.

You can ignore devils, contracts, Public Safety, strange structures, suspicious crows, and whatever is making noise outside your house.

Mostly.

But if a devil targets you, if Public Safety shows up and gets wiped out in front of you, or if you decide to stand there like an idiot while something with 40 health and childhood trauma runs at you, that is now your problem.

Kill it or die.

Minecraft continues normally. You still mine, build, farm, explore, and try to make your little square house look less depressing.

But the world is harsher now.

Natural regeneration is disabled.
Milk no longer cures status effects.
Positive or negative, you are keeping that effect until the game says otherwise.

Maybe Pochita ate natural regeneration and milk cures.

Honestly, that would explain a lot.

Q: How do I begin?
A: Begin by playing regular Minecraft. Survive, explore, fight devils, find structures, and progress naturally. The mod is designed to enter your world, not replace it.

Q: Do I need to follow a questline?
A: No. You can interact with the mod when you want. Sometimes the mod will interact with you first. That is usually bad.

Q: Is this a power fantasy mod?
A: Kind of. You can become powerful, but this is Chainsaw Man-inspired, so power usually arrives attached to pain, cost, cooldowns, consequences, or a terrible decision you made at 2 AM.

Q: Can I become a hybrid or fiend?
A: Yes. Fiends and hybrids are part of the progression system.

Q: Does this replace vanilla survival?
A: No. The mod is built around Minecraft survival. You still play Minecraft. You just do it in a world where fear has teeth now.

Q: Why is natural regeneration disabled?
A: Because free healing makes fear cheaper. Also, again, Pochita probably ate it.
