Sanity Mod is a psychological horror mod that adds a sanity system and frightening visual and sound effects.

## Main Features

* **Sanity system (0–100)** — default 100
* Sanity decreases:

* at night, in the dark
* underground and in caves
* after prolonged inactivity
* Restores:

* during the day, in bright light
* near torches, campfires, or a bed
* sleeping in a bed: **+20 sanity**

## Effects by Sanity Level

**50–70 (Medium)**

* slight screen dimming
* whispers, fake footsteps

**10–50 (Low)**

* camera shaking
* HUD glitches
* black screen flashes
* fake mob sounds
* red alert messages

**0–10 (Critical)**

* strong camera shaking and rotation
* mini-teleports
* visual "Fake" damage
* VHS effects, red filter
* Rare fake crash (restores sanity to 30)

## HUD

Sanity indicator in the upper left corner:

* 🟢 70–100 — safe
* 🟡 30–70 — alarming
* 🟠 10–30 — dangerous
* 🔴 0–10 — critical

* Client/server synchronization
* Sanity persists after death
* Optimized, lag-free
