Psychology

Your character is not a bio-robot. Cramped tunnels and darkness build stress: tunnel vision, shaky aim, phantom footsteps and nightmares. Relax with hot food, campfires, music and a cozy home.

What's new

## Psychology 1.7.0

### New
- **Loneliness.** If you haven't seen another player, a villager, or a wandering trader for 10 minutes, your stress slowly starts to rise. Loneliness alone only raises stress up to 60. Meeting someone resets the timer.
- **Company in multiplayer.** Having another player nearby (within 16 blocks) lowers your stress.
- **Nights outside shelter.** At night in the Overworld, standing in the open with no roof overhead and no light nearby (torch, campfire) makes stress build up faster.
- **Hunger.** Stress rises while your hunger level is below 5.
- **Lack of sleep.** Stress rises if you have not slept for more than 3 in-game days. Sleeping in a bed resets the counter.
- **Nervous breakdown.** When stress reaches 100, you suffer a 10-second attack: heavy slowness and nausea. Stress is frozen at 100 during the attack and drops to 60 afterwards.
- The new breakdown messages are translated into all 13 languages supported by the mod.

### Changes
- Hot meals no longer reduce stress during a nervous breakdown attack.

### Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.21, Fabric, Fabric API, Java 21.
- The mod must be installed on both the server and every client.
- Existing worlds are supported. The loneliness timer is not saved between sessions and starts over after you rejoin.
