What's new

0.1.4

  • Replaces every block face with individually generated textures: 180 separate square faces across 15 tiers and both converter variants. Fixes mixed atlas tiles, cropped artwork, warped frames and thin black perimeter lines. Each complete image covers a full block face.
  • Front arrows indicate the input and output: purple EMC diamond to cyan power circle for EMC → energy; cyan power circle to purple EMC diamond for energy → EMC.
  • Both default input/output ratios are now 1000:1: 1000 EMC → 1 FE/RF/OP, and 1000 FE/RF/OP → 1 EMC. This is intentionally lossy in a round trip.
  • Existing saved server settings are preserved. To adopt both new ratios in an existing world, stop the game/server and set emcPerEnergy = 1000 and energyPerEmc = 1000 in the active converter server config. Drain buffers before changing ratios. Do not replace ProjectE configs or world/player data.
  • All 30 empty converters retain native ProjectE recipe-based EMC values and their existing item IDs. Stored currency, inventory contents and unknown data remain protected from machine transmutation.

Requirements: Minecraft 1.21.1, Java 21, NeoForge 21.1.250, ProjectE 1.1.0 and Project Expansion 1.21.1-1.0.6. Install this JAR on the server and participating clients. Brandon’s Core 3.2.1.309 provides optional native OP support.

Validation: 10 conversion ledger tests passed. The production JAR loaded on an isolated dedicated server and a real client joined. All 30 block types were displayed; four actual Minecraft screenshots include both tier sets and touching-block closeups. All 180 faces passed opaque perimeter checks. Gameplay classes and recipes are unchanged from the locally tested 0.1.3 build. Earlier full-pack gameplay/restart tests were on 0.1.2; full-pack graphics, arbitrary shaders and resource packs were not retested on 0.1.4. Published as Release. Test in a duplicate profile and back up worlds; the testing limitations above still apply.
