Description
The nuclear warhead mod you always wished existed.
A flash on the horizon. A towering mushroom cloud. Then the shockwave reaches you.
Built with care for players who want every detonation to feel unforgettable.
💥 Feel the IMPACT
"Project Oppenheimer" brings dramatic nuclear explosions to Minecraft, combining a blinding white flash, deep explosion sounds, powerful camera shake, and an expanding shockwave.
Watch a massive mushroom cloud rise above the landscape, glowing with red, orange, and yellow heat as the blast leaves a huge crater, scattered fires, and patches of magma behind.
☢️ Choose how it begins
- Place a warhead and right-click to start its countdown.
- Pair a remote detonator to trigger your bomb within range.
- Build a drop station with a visibly attached bomb, then release it through its console or redstone.
- Practice with an inert bomb before committing to the real thing.
- Recover placed bombs before they detonate.
🔴 Watch your step
Craft and place Claymore mines with detailed 3D models and red laser sensors. Their compact size makes them easy to position and you can pick them back up when your plans change.
🛠️ Manual
Craftable items, a dedicated Oppenheimer Creative tab, and detailed GLB-based 3D models bring everything together. Names, tooltips, and messages automatically switch between English and German with your Minecraft language setting.
Craft and place an Isotope Processor, then right-click it while holding an Isotope Charge to start processing.
After 5 minutes, right-click the processor with an empty hand to collect one Plutonium Capsule.
Each small nuclear bomb requires one capsule. Protect your processor, other players can collect its finished output!
Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.20 tested but should work for all forge versions, Singleplayer & multiplayer
Explosions permanently change your world. Try your first detonation in a test world or make a backup of a world you love.
