Progressive Monster Cap

Fewer monsters at the start, more later

This mod limits the number of hostile mobs on the first day after world creation, then slowly increases it.

As a result, you’ll have an easier time during the first days of play, instead of encountering the highest mob density after just 10 minutes. By default, the scaling is exponential and the target limit is vanilla’s default (70), which is reached on day 6 (2 hours). So by the end you'll get the vanilla experience.

You can change the target limit and the day it’s reached to make the game harder or easier.

You can also choose linear scaling.

Use the command /prmoncap to set and update all values in-game.
