v1.25.2 - 2026-07-25 - Soul Forge

Fixed

  • The Wither Altar is craftable again. Two of its parts shared a crafting recipe with another item, and only one of each pair was ever reachable at the table: the Wither Altar Hatch lost out to the End Dragon Altar Hatch (both were obsidian + a chest), and the Withered Star lost out to the Nether Star Catalyst (both were obsidian around a Nether Star). Both Wither Altar pieces were simply uncraftable in survival. The Wither Altar Hatch is now obsidian and soul sand around a chest, and the Withered Star is a Nether Star wrapped in soul sand, so each is distinct and buildable. The End Dragon Altar Hatch and the Nether Star Catalyst are unchanged.
