Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Productive Bees Genesis 1.1.0 targets Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge and was released on 2026-10-19. This is the first full release of extended-resource bee output support.
This update includes many new features and changes. The stability of the new features is not guaranteed, and bugs may remain. Back up your world before updating and try the update in a test world first.
The mod only provides the underlying support for registering extended-resource bees and producing their outputs. It does not include or automatically register ready-made extended-resource bees. Players or modpack authors must add them. See the previously published 1.1.0 bee registration examples; resource-bees-all.zip is the recommended starting point.
Use Genesis mechanical apiaries, mechanical centrifuges and their factory tiers for extended outputs. Productive Bees' own hives and centrifuges do not yet support these additional resources. Update both clients and servers to 1.1.0.
Added
- More kinds of bee output: create bees that produce FE, Mekanism chemicals, Ars Nouveau source, homogenous souls, compressed air, EMC, experience, or high-voltage / extreme-high-voltage lightning. Other AE2 resources can also be used when compatible storage is available. Each resource requires its supporting mod.
- Two production routes: produce resources directly in a mechanical apiary, or produce combs first and process them in a mechanical centrifuge. Ordinary items and extended resources can also be configured to share a production cycle.
- Resources in containers as flowering materials: require a container holding a specified fluid, chemical or FE amount, or an ME cell containing the specified resource. The minimum amount must be present; flowering does not consume the container or its contents.
- Resource window and output sides: view actual production rates over the last five seconds or amounts waiting to be sent out, with search, sorting and details. Configure output sides and auto-eject in the machine's side settings. Chemicals have a separate tab; other supported resources use the extended-resource selector. ME output additionally requires the appropriate bridge mod and storage.
- EMC credited to players: EMC goes to the online machine owner's ProjectE account by default. With FTB Teams installed, choose an online teammate as the recipient. Very large EMC amounts are supported, with readable abbreviations when Project Expansion is installed.
- Recipe lookup and registration examples: JEI shows extended production, centrifuging and container-flowering requirements, while Jade shows output status. English and Chinese README, GuideME and Patchouli guides explain how to use the features. Separate example downloads provide data packs, a names resource pack and KubeJS scripts to customize.
Changed
- Easier output setup: mechanical machines can use their own resource window and output connections after finding an extended-resource recipe, without a separate manual binding step. Produced FE is kept separate from operating power; configure both through the ENERGY page.
- Better automatic input selection: centrifuges skip resource combs when a required mod or usable output route is missing, leaving room for ordinary processing. Pulling can resume when the output becomes available. Unlimited pulling also distributes work more fairly between input types.
- Many machines and time acceleration: revised accelerated production, mixed ordinary/resource processing, and ME input/output to reduce repeated lookups and calculations. Slow or rejecting storage is retried with delays.
- More focused failure handling: an uncertain transfer pauses the affected resource, bee slot or processing lane, reducing disruption to healthy work. Settings and pending products are retained through saving, dismantling and tier upgrades; uncertain results may still require an administrator to review them.
Fixed
- Fixed resource bees in some cages and spawn eggs not being recognized correctly by mechanical apiaries.
- Corrected capacity, output amounts and energy costs for large resource batches in higher-tier centrifuges, and improved resuming after full outputs.
- Fixed several settings-restoration issues after loading, tier upgrades or temporarily removing AE2, as well as honey being loaded twice.
- Fixed ME transfer limits for some large resource amounts and improved EMC quantity displays.
- Fixed overlapping JEI centrifuge outputs, inaccurate container-flowering displays and machine sounds continuing after removal.
- Fixed smelting inputs being left behind after configuration cards disabled smelting, and unintended pattern slots appearing in pattern-management terminals and potentially causing disconnections.
- Updated Essence Conversion exclusions to avoid turning bones into non-reversible Bone Crooks and to preserve the music disc 5 fragments produced by Sculk Bees.
