Storage blocks made out of natural blocks: Leaves, dirt, cobble, or mud. Good for playthroughs/bases made to replicate a very primitive/feral animal den feel.
Two stashes of the same material facing the same way placed together will work just like a chest, combining together into a double stash and doubling inventory space.
Leaf Stash: Craft a storage block out of leaves! The recipe is 8 leaf blocks in a ring. It should work for any kind of leaf block. When broken, the leaf stash itself will drop along with all items inside. No shears are required to retreive the leaf stash, but shears or a hoe will break it faster. Leaf stashes can also be used as furnace fuel, and are flammable.
Rock Stash: To craft, place five cobblestone or cobbled deepslate on the bottom, and three cobblestone or cobbled deepslate slabs on top. Make sure the same type of cobble is used in the recipe. Rock stashes require a pickaxe to retreive just like stone.
Mud Stash: To craft, place 8 mud blocks in a ring.
Dirt Stash: To craft, place any of the same soil type (dirt, rooted dirt) in a ring.
