Preferred Slots

Tired of rearranging your hotbar every time you pick up items? This mod lets you choose exactly where your items go!

How It Works

Choose which items you want managed and assign each one to a hotbar slot. When sorting is triggered, the mod automatically moves your items into their assigned slots.

What You Can Configure

• Tools: Assign each tool to its own hotbar slot (sword in slot 1, pickaxe in slot 2, etc.).
• Ranged Weapons: Choose a hotbar slot for your bows and crossbows.
• Food: Keep your food in your preferred hotbar slot.
• Item Selection: Have multiple copies of the same item? Open your inventory and click the exact one you want prioritized, such as an enchanted diamond sword instead of a regular one.
• Sorting Modes: Choose when sorting happens:
  • Manually using a keybind you set.
  • When you open your inventory.
  • When you close your inventory.
  • Always, with automatic sorting.

Controls

The mod adds an Inventory Manager section to your keybinds menu.

• Config Screen: Bound to P by default.
• Sort Keybind: Unbound by default. Set it to whatever key you prefer in your controls menu.
