Use this template to create your tools when using metal from the Golden variants set. Some of these tools require a lot to make but they are durable and are highly enchantable so it's worth it.

all tools made with gold require a diamond mantle to repair and mine better than diamond tools. There are no multi tool variants for these yet, only the Powa and Sabu set can offer you those.

All of these materials can be used to create pickaxes, axes and shovels of all different types. use JEI (mod by mezz) for a list of all tools and their recipes in game.
Some of the tools created can then be further created into an even more powerful version that works as all 3 tools in 1!
There is 1 tool set in particular, the 'Powa' tool set are a cut above the rest, having much higher durability and mining faster than diamond.
