Potion Coating
Have you ever wished you could channel the power of a potent potion directly through your blade or armor? This mod brings that vision to life!
📖 Overview
This mod introduces a brand-new Potion Coating mechanic to Minecraft — you can apply the effects of any potion onto your equipment (weapons, tools, and armor). From now on, every swing of your sword and every block of your shield can also unleash the magical power of potions!
⚙️ Key Features
-
Coating Equipment: First, pour the potion into a cauldron. Then, hold the equipment you wish to coat and right-click on the cauldron to imbue it with the potion's effect. When you strike an enemy, the potion effect will be applied simultaneously; when you wear coated armor, attackers will also receive the corresponding effect when they hit you.
-
Cauldron Integration: Fully adapted from Bedrock Edition's ability to store potions in cauldrons! Pour multiple potions into a cauldron and coat several pieces of equipment in one go — efficient and time-saving. The potion in the cauldron is divided into three levels, just like water, with each level sufficient for one coating application.
-
Flexible & Configurable: The number of uses per potion bottle is configurable, giving you full control over resource consumption vs. combat advantage.
🔧 Compatibility & Customization
This mod is lightweight and compatible with most mainstream mods. It also comes with a configuration file, allowing server owners and players to customize coating counts to suit different playstyles.
No potion shall remain a mere consumable — they become part of your equipment, fighting by your side on every adventure!
