The Potato Origin

This mod adds a brand new Origin, transforming the player into a living root vegetable. This mod offers a unique, farming-centric playstyle, bespoke abilities, and a brand new crop.

Active Abilities

• Rooted Stance (Become Potato): Pressing your secondary ability key while standing on Dirt, Grass, or Farmland physically roots you into the earth. While rooted, you gain continuous health regeneration and hunger restoration. Moving while rooted kicks up a trail of dirt particles. Being pushed off the soil automatically uproots you and restores your normal size.

• Instant Planter: Pressing your primary ability key instantly cultivates a 3x3 grid of potatoes(Rare Chance to aquire new Crop) on any surrounding farmland. This grid snaps perfectly to the world, making mass farming incredibly efficient.

Passive Traits

• Photosynthesis: Basking in direct daytime sunlight provides a continuous, slow regeneration effect to heal your wounds.

• Nocturnal Sluggishness: Deprived of solar energy, your plant-like body loses its vigor, applying a persistent slowness effect during the night.

• Strict Herbivore: As a plant yourself, the concept of eating meat is repulsive. You are completely restricted to a plant-based diet and are physically incapable of consuming any vanilla or modded meat items.

Custom Content

• The Yam: A brand new food item and functional crop block integrated directly into the mod. Every time you use the Instant Planter ability, there is a rare 1% chance a crop will mutate into a Yam.
