Pop Fusion

A compatibility add-on that turns every player on your server into their own Pop.
I saw a lot of people wishing this were a feature within Foxy's Pop mod, so I decided to bridge the gap! I love FoxyNoTail's videos and all the other creators within the JustCreateSMP. All mods and assets belong to their respective creators!
This mod DOES NOT bring the base pops within the BlockPops mod to life; it only adds players that have joined your world/server as pops!
PopFusion connects Just Create SMP Pops by FoxyNoTail and Azu with Block Pops. Every player who joins gets a personal Pop that wears their skin and lives in a box in the color they picked in the Block Pops GUI upon joining. Because these Pops build on Just Create SMP Pops’ own Pop code, they behave like the Pops from Foxy’s mod. Their AI, moods, needs, diaries, and everything else carry over.
Features
- Pops with your skin. Each Player Pop wears the skin of the player it’s based on. Skins keep working for players who are offline, and the Pop updates if the player changes their skin.
- Your Block Pops color. The box color you pick on joining in Block Pops is used for your Player Pop Box. Colors chosen after joining are picked up automatically.
- Custom Player Pop Boxes. Capture a Player Pop with Just Create SMP Pops’ empty Pop Box, and it becomes a Player Pop Box. The box is tinted with the player’s color, and the skinned Pop can be seen standing inside. Place the box and use the shears to let the Pop out. It keeps its skin and its saved state, including its stats and name.
- Diaries that make sense. A Player Pop’s diary is signed “PlayerName Pop” instead of a default character name.
- Easy to obtain.
- Craft it: Pop Box + Golden Apple makes a Pop Box of you. The recipe is a data file, so modpack makers can change it.
- Find it: Chests in dungeons, mineshafts, temples, shipwrecks, ruined portals, strongholds, and some villages have a small chance of holding a box of a random player who has joined the world.
- Command (op only):
/popfusion give <player>gives you a box of that player.
- Craft it: Pop Box + Golden Apple makes a Pop Box of you. The recipe is a data file, so modpack makers can change it.

Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge Loader 21.1.252 (or newer)
- Just Create SMP Pops (1.0.2 or newer)
- Block Pops, NeoForge build (1.5.0 or newer)
Install it on both the server and the clients.
Configuration
popfusion-common.toml has one option: refreshIntervalTicks, which sets how often a Pop re-reads its player’s skin and color. The default is 200 ticks.
Notes
- PopFusion is a fan-made add-on. It is not affiliated with FoxyNoTail or the Block Pops authors.
- It needs both of the mods above to work. Please don’t report PopFusion bugs to them.
- The box textures and models in this mod were made for it. The Pops’ own AI and behavior come entirely from Just Create SMP Pops.
