What's new
Pokémon Conductors — 0.0.6 to 0.0.8
This series of updates focuses on multiplayer stability, safe Pokémon retrieval, and improved interaction with large Pokémon.
0.0.6 — Multiplayer GUI Fix
-
Fixed an issue where interacting with a Pokémon Conductor on a dedicated multiplayer server could disconnect the player.
-
Removed client-side access to Pixelmon party storage when opening the conductor interface.
-
Party information is now retrieved by the server and synchronized to the client.
-
Fixed conductor interaction behavior that worked correctly in single-player but failed on dedicated servers.
-
Applied the corrected synchronization system to both stationary Pokémon Seats and assembled train seats.
0.0.7 — Safe Pokémon Retrieval
-
Fixed a duplication bug when retrieving a conductor while the player's party was full.
-
Fixed Pokémon remaining attached to the conductor seat after already being successfully returned to Pixelmon storage.
-
Removed obsolete Pixelmon client-update calls that could interrupt the retrieval process after the Pokémon had already been stored.
-
Corrected retrieval handling for both stationary Pokémon Seats and assembled train seats.
-
Full parties can now safely allow Pixelmon to route the retrieved Pokémon to appropriate storage without leaving a duplicate behind.
0.0.8 — Large Pokémon Interaction & Seat Protection
-
Added direct interaction support for large Pokémon that physically block access to their conductor seat.
-
Players can now Shift + Right-Click the seated Pokémon itself to access its conductor seat management interface.
-
The mod identifies the conductor seat associated with the seated Pokémon automatically.
-
Fixed situations where very large Pokémon could only be retrieved by digging underneath the seat to reach the block.
-
Occupied Pokémon Seats are now protected from being broken while a conductor is assigned.
-
Attempting to break an occupied seat instructs the player to retrieve the conductor first.
-
Prevents breaking an occupied seat from leaving behind an unmanaged Pokémon entity that can no longer be properly retrieved.
-
Prevents the possibility of permanently losing a conductor Pokémon by killing one of these orphaned entities.
-
Normal wild and player-owned Pokémon interactions remain unaffected.
Current Status
Stationary Pokémon Conductor functionality has been multiplayer tested through 0.0.8, including GUI access, full-party retrieval, large Pokémon interaction, and occupied-seat protection.
Assembled train functionality retains the existing conductor mechanics and received the relevant multiplayer/retrieval fixes, but the latest 0.0.8 behavior has not yet been fully retested on assembled trains.
