Pocket Bags

A bag you carry in your pocket that grows with you. It starts with 9 slots and every Slot Upgrade adds another row of 9, all the way up to 72 slots. Everything inside stays in the bag, so you can carry it, drop it in a chest or hand it to a friend.

How it works

• Right-click the bag to open it. The slot holding the open bag is locked so you can't lose it by accident.
• Upgrade it: craft a Slot Upgrade, then put the bag and the upgrade together in a crafting grid. Your items stay inside.
• The tooltip shows the bag's tier, how many slots it has and how much is stored.
• Bags, shulker boxes and bundles can't go inside a bag (no bag-in-a-bag tricks).

Tiers

• Leather: 9 slots (the starting bag)
• Copper: 18 slots
• Iron: 27 slots
• Gold: 36 slots
• Diamond: 45 slots
• Netherite: 54 slots
• Obsidian Alloy: 63 slots (needs ForgeWorks)
• Crying Alloy: 72 slots (needs ForgeWorks)

Recipes

• Pocket Bag: String on top, Leather - Barrel - Leather in the middle, three Leather on the bottom.
• Slot Upgrade: the tier's material in the four corners with a Chest in the middle (copper ingot, iron ingot, gold ingot, diamond, netherite ingot, or ForgeWorks alloy ingots).
• Upgrade a bag: your Pocket Bag + the next Slot Upgrade, anywhere in the crafting grid.

Versions

NeoForge 26.3 and 1.21.1, Forge 26.3, 1.21.1 and 1.20.1, Fabric 26.3, 1.21.1 and 1.20.1 (Fabric needs Fabric API). Install on the server and every client. ForgeWorks is optional: without it you get every tier up to Netherite (54 slots).

Modpacks: free to include in any CurseForge modpack.
