Player Locator Plus
Track other players with a compass-like locator bar above the experience bar.
Player Locator Plus adds a configurable multiplayer HUD that displays the direction of other players in the same dimension.
Features
- Colored player markers based on UUID, scoreboard teams, custom colors, or one shared color
- Optional player heads and player-name labels while holding Tab
- Distance fading and marker shrinking for faraway players
- Up/down indicators for significant height differences
- Configurable tracking range, update rate, and direction precision
- Server-side configuration synchronization
Hide from the Locator
Players can hide their marker by:
- Sneaking
- Using the Invisibility effect
- Wearing a carved pumpkin
- Wearing equipment defined by the
player-locator-plus:hiding_equipmentdatapack tag
Commands
/plp reload— reload the configuration and resend it to players/plp color <color>— set a custom marker color/plp random— preview random player markers
Configuration
The configuration file is located at:
config/player-locator-plus.toml
After changing server settings, run /plp reload as an operator or restart the server.

- The mod must be installed on both the client and server
