# Placeable Order Amulet

Have you ever wanted to actually place the Order of the Stone Amulet down in your Minecraft world instead of only carrying it around?

Placeable Order Amulet is an add-on for Cracker's Wither Storm Mod that expands the Order of the Stone Amulet with new placement, tracking, visual, and exploration features inspired by Minecraft: Story Mode.

The goal of this mod is to make the amulet feel more like an actual object in the world while keeping its connection to the mobs that have been linked to it.

## PLACE THE ORDER OF THE STONE AMULET

The biggest feature of this add-on is the ability to physically place the Order of the Stone Amulet in your world.

Simply right-click a block while holding the amulet and it will be placed down.

Instead of turning into a normal cube-shaped Minecraft block, the placed amulet uses a custom 3D model so that it actually looks like the Order of the Stone Amulet sitting in the world.

The model is positioned so that the bottom of the amulet rests on the surface it was placed on.

This makes it useful not only for its tracking abilities, but also as a decoration for bases, temples, Story Mode builds, adventure maps, and other Minecraft: Story Mode themed worlds.

## PICK THE AMULET BACK UP

Placing your amulet does not mean you lose it.

Right-click the placed amulet and it will be picked back up and returned to you.

The mod is designed to preserve the amulet's linked information when it is placed and picked back up, allowing you to continue using the same amulet instead of receiving an unrelated replacement.

You can also break the placed amulet normally with left-click.

When broken, the block drops an Order of the Stone Amulet so you don't permanently lose your amulet just because you decided to break the placed version.

## LINKED MOB TRACKING

The placed amulet isn't just decoration.

It can react to the mobs that have been linked to the Order of the Stone Amulet.

When one of the linked mobs comes within range, the placed amulet activates and helps show you where that mob is located.

## COLORED TRACKING BEAMS

When a linked mob is nearby, a colored beam points from the placed amulet toward that mob.

The beam uses the color associated with that part of the amulet, making the tracking system much easier to understand visually.

As the linked mob moves around, the beam continues pointing toward it.

This makes the placed amulet feel much more like a real tracking device rather than simply being a decorative model.

## MULTIPLE BEAMS AT ONCE

The tracking system is not limited to one mob.

If multiple linked mobs are within range at the same time, the placed amulet can display multiple tracking beams.

Each beam points toward its corresponding linked mob and uses its associated color.

This means you can place the amulet down and visually see the directions of several linked mobs at the same time.

## GLOWING AMULET COLORS

The colored sections of the placed amulet also react when their linked mobs are nearby.

When a linked mob is detected, its corresponding section of the amulet lights up along with the tracking beam.

This gives you another visual indication that the amulet has detected something nearby.

The combination of the glowing sections and tracking beams makes the placed amulet much more interactive.

## ORDER OF THE STONE TEMPLE

The amulet isn't the only feature included in this project.

Placeable Order Amulet also adds the Order of the Stone Temple to world generation.

The temple can naturally appear while exploring your Minecraft world, giving Minecraft: Story Mode fans another structure to discover.

The Order of the Stone Temple can generate in:

- Plains
- Snowy Plains

This means you can actually come across the temple while exploring instead of needing to manually place the structure yourself.

For the best experience when looking for the temple, explore newly generated chunks or create a new world after installing the mod.

## DESIGNED FOR CRACKER'S WITHER STORM MOD

Placeable Order Amulet is an add-on for Cracker's Wither Storm Mod.

Cracker's Wither Storm Mod is REQUIRED.

This project does not replace Cracker's Wither Storm Mod. It expands its Order of the Stone Amulet with additional functionality.

Make sure you install the correct version of Cracker's Wither Storm Mod for the Minecraft version you are using.

## VERSION 1.0.0 - INITIAL RELEASE

This is the first release of Placeable Order Amulet.

The initial release includes the complete placeable amulet system, linked-mob tracking beams, glowing amulet sections, amulet pickup and breaking behavior, and natural Order of the Stone Temple generation.

More features may be added in future updates.

## IMPORTANT

Cracker's Wither Storm Mod is required for this add-on to work.

This project is made for Minecraft: Java Edition and currently supports Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.19.4, and 1.18.2.
