Curse Maven Snippet
View Pokeball Catch Chance while in Battle!
- Accounts for Gender, Species, Base Stat, and Level differences of your Pixelmon and the Enemy
- Accounts for Enemy Base Stats, Typing, Weight, and whether it's an Ultra Beast
- Accounts for status effects (paralyzed, burned, etc) applied to Enemy
- White text is normal catch rate
- Gold text means the catch rate is guaranteed
- Gray text means the ball rate can't be determined based on special conditions. Other aspects of the catch rate are accounted for (has status effect, species base catch rate, health %)
- Comes with a Config to enable or disable this feature
- See Images for an example of what it looks like in Battle
Some Pokeballs are not currently supported because either I can't or I don't know how to access the data necessary to compute the ball rate. All other factors that influence the catch chance are still applied.
The balls that don't work are:
- Dive Ball - don't know if Enemy in Water
- Dusk Ball - don't know if Enemy in Darkness
- Lure Ball - don't know how Enemy was found (IF Fishing)
- Moon Ball - don't know if Enemy Evolutionary Tree uses Moon Stone, but this could be hard coded to determine
- Repeat Ball - don't know if Enemy was has been Caught Before
- Safari Ball - don't yet know if Player in Plains or Savanna type Biomes
