Pixel Chameleon
The most intuitive and simple to use Meccha Chameleon fan mod you can find!
This mod focuses on using native Minecraft features, which results in more familiar gameplay, unlike other mods that override all Minecraft gameplay features.
⚠️ This mod is intended for small multiplayer use, using mods such as Essential or e4mc, it will not function properly when installed on a dedicated server ⚠️
Customization
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Gamemode | All hiders hide at the same time, and after the hide time, selected seekers are released to seek |
| Infection Gamemode | All hiders hide at the same time, but cannot see each other. After the hide time, selected seekers are released, and when caught, hiders join the seeker team |
| Custom Timers | Set your desired time to Hide, Seek, and Check Answers |
| Taunting | Hiders recieve a Goat Horn that they can use to taunt by making a sound at their location |
| Forced Taunting | Set an interval for seekers to automatically taunt, this can be turned off |
| Missed Spot Ranking | Hiders who are in a seeker's line of site recieve points, depending on how close they are to the seeker, and their crosshair. This can be customized to be shown to only seekers, all players, or be completely off. The time it takes for the leaderboard to update can also be modified |
| Crossbow Area of Effect (AoE) | The range the crossbow has to catch hiders around where the rocket lands can be modified from 0-5 blocks. 0 blocks requiring hiders to be hit by the rocket directly |
| Hider Footstep Volume | Modify the volume of hider footsteps to make it more or less difficult for hiders to move around without being detected |
| Crossbow Quick Charge | Modfiy the level of Quick Charge applied to the seeker's crossbow |
| Player Speed | Modify the speed of Seekers or Hiders from a range of 0.25x - 2 |
| Hider Movement | Toggle hiders having the ability to move after seeking starts |
| Hider Scale | Modify the size of hiders, ranging from 0.25x - 1x |
| Seeker Ammo | Modify how many firework rockets seekers are given, from 0 - ∞ |
| Lobby Coordinates | When creating a map, these coordinates can be set to where the player lobby is |
| Start Coordinates | WHen creating a map, these coordinates can be set to where the players will be teleported to hide or seek |
| Random Seeker | Randomely choose any number of seekers |
| Roles | You must assign every player a role, Seeker, Hider, or Spectator. |
Painting

| Eyedropper Tool | Pick any color on screen to use to paint with |
| Fill Tool | Has 3 Settings: -Fill, Fill an area of connected color, -Color, Replace all instances of one color, -Face, Fill one face of your skin at a time |
| Resolution | Change the resoultuon you paint in from 8x8, 4x4, or 2x2. |
| Skin Mode | Set your skin to either your normal Minecraft skin, or your painted skin |
| Undo and Redo | Undo or Redo changes you made |
| Rotation Lock | Lock your rotation so you can look around without moving your body or head |
| Turn | Turn your character by 1° at a time in either direction |
| Sync | Sync the changes you made to other players, this happens automatically every 5 seconds |
| Brightness | Change the brightness of your entire skin |
| Snap to Pixel | Snap to the nearest pixel to easily line up for painting |
| ? Button | Show a key to all of your keybinds and labels to the 2D skin map |
Blocks
This mod adds 2 new blocks for map making
| Block | Description |
|---|---|
| Boundry | Completely black. Players in spectator mode cannot fly through this block |
| Seeker Barrier | Functions as a barrier, but only has collision to seekers, they can still shoot rockets through the barrier |
Presets
Each world has 8 preset slots that will automatically set all of your game settings to a previous setup that was saved. Presets can be overidden, named, renamed, and deleted
Game
All games will progress in the following order:
-Hiding: All hiders are teleported to Spawn Coordinates, to go hide
-Seeking: All seekers are teleported to Spawn Coordinates, to go seek
-Answer Check: After all hiders are found, the seeker runs out of ammo, or the timer runs out, clones of hider's spots are made. If a hider was found, the clone will recreate their last location before they were found. Players who were found will have a red glow, and players who were not found will have a light blue glow

Miscellaneous
-Freecam: All hiders are able to enter freecam using a keybind. Freecam cannot fly through walls, and can also teleport to all available players and spectate them
-Pose Wheel: All hiders have access to a pose wheel with various poses to choose from to diguise themselves better
-Climbing: All players have the ability to climb walls and ceilings, togglable with a keybind
