Description
⚙️ Physic Core
What if Minecraft's world actually followed physics?
Physic Core is a highly advanced physics-focused Minecraft mod that brings together realistic item behavior, electricity, temperature, fire, weather, and material properties into one interconnected system.
Instead of adding a few isolated mechanics, Physic Core changes the way the world behaves. Items react differently depending on their weight. Heat travels through materials. Electricity interacts with blocks and produces visible effects. Fire depends on temperature, oxygen and the properties of the material around it. Weather becomes more dynamic and visually detailed. While you might assume otherwise, this mod does not generate lags.
And this is only the surface.
🧠 Property Core
At the foundation of Physic Core is Property Core — the system responsible for determining the physical properties of Minecraft's items and blocks.
It can assign properties to items and blocks automatically, allowing the other physics systems to understand what materials they are dealing with instead of relying on manually created definitions for every object.
Blocks can have physical properties such as:
-
⚡ Electrical conductivity
-
🌡️ Thermal conductivity
-
🔥 Fire-related properties
Items receive properties such as weight, allowing their behavior to be handled consistently throughout the world.
This means the physics systems can work together based on the actual properties of the objects around them.
⚖️ Item Physics
Dropped items are no longer just floating icons that behave exactly the same way.
Physic Core gives items different physical behavior based on their weight and uses physics-based calculations to control their movement.
🪶 Lightweight items
Light objects can:
-
Float on water
-
Be pushed much more easily by flowing water
-
React more strongly to movement and external forces
-
Behave differently while falling
🧱 Heavy items
Heavy objects:
-
Sink in water
-
Are much harder for water currents to move
-
React differently to forces acting on them
-
Have different falling behavior compared to lightweight objects
🏀 Physical collisions
Dropped items can also bounce off the ground instead of simply stopping instantly.
Their movement is affected by physical calculations, making impacts feel much more natural.
💨 Air resistance
Different objects can experience different levels of air resistance while falling, meaning two items dropped from the same height do not necessarily behave identically.
The result is a much more dynamic ItemEntity system where the physical properties of the object actually matter.
⚡ Electricity
Physic Core introduces a completely new electricity system designed to go far beyond Minecraft's normal redstone behavior.
Electricity is simulated using advanced physics-based calculations and interacts with the physical properties of blocks.
Conductive materials can behave differently from insulating materials, allowing electrical effects to propagate through the world according to the properties of the blocks involved.
And electricity is not only something you see in numbers.
✨ Real visual effects
Electrical activity can produce visible effects in the world, including sparks and other electrical visual effects.
The result is a system where electricity is both a physical mechanic and something you can actually see happening around you.
Redstone can interact with this system, while future electrical sources can integrate into the same framework.
🌡️ Temperature
Temperature is not simply a number attached to a block.
Physic Core treats temperature as a dynamic physical state that can interact with the surrounding world.
Temperature behavior can depend on things such as:
-
The material of the block
-
Thermal conductivity
-
Nearby blocks
-
Heat sources
-
Environmental conditions
-
The current state of the world
Heat can therefore behave differently depending on what a block is made of.
A highly conductive material can transfer heat differently from an insulating material, creating interactions that would simply not exist in vanilla Minecraft.
And just like electricity, temperature is not purely invisible data — it can produce visible effects in the world.
🔥 Completely New Fire System
Fire has been rebuilt into a much more advanced system.
Instead of relying purely on Minecraft's traditional fire behavior, Physic Core introduces a new approach based around physical conditions and material properties.
Fire can take into account things such as:
-
🌡️ Temperature
-
🔥 Material fire properties
-
💨 Oxygen
-
🔥 Burning intensity
-
🧱 Nearby materials
-
🌍 Environmental conditions
This allows fire to behave differently depending on what is around it.
🔥 Different stages of burning
Fire is no longer simply “on” or “off”.
Burning can have different stages and intensities, allowing flames to behave more dynamically depending on the conditions around them.
✨ Advanced rendering
The fire system also comes with completely new visual work, including:
-
Advanced rendering
-
Custom particle effects
-
More detailed flame behavior
-
Visual differences depending on burning conditions
This creates a fire system that is not only more complex internally, but also far more alive visually.
🌦️ Improved Weather
Physic Core also improves Minecraft's weather system visually while keeping the familiar vanilla identity of Minecraft's weather.
Rain and storms receive visual improvements, making weather feel more dynamic without turning Minecraft into a completely different game.
⚡ Improved Lightning
Lightning receives both visual and functional improvements.
Lightning can make more informed decisions about where to strike by considering things such as:
-
Block height
-
Block properties
-
The surrounding environment
At the same time, Physic Core keeps important vanilla behavior intact — including the recognizable influence of lightning rods and an element of natural randomness.
The result is lightning that feels more intelligent and physical without losing the Minecraft feel players already know.
🔬 Built to Work Together
The most important part of Physic Core is that its systems are not isolated.
They are designed to interact.
A block's physical properties can influence electricity.
Those properties can also affect heat transfer.
Temperature can influence fire.
Fire can change the temperature around it.
Weather can interact with fire and lightning.
Items can behave differently in water depending on their weight.
And all of these systems are built around the same physical-property foundation.
This means the mod is not simply a collection of unrelated features.
It is a connected physics system.
🧪 Advanced Under the Hood
Physic Core is designed to be much more advanced internally than its mechanics may appear from the surface.
Behind the scenes, the mod uses physics-based calculations, material properties, dynamic states, environmental conditions, custom rendering and interconnected systems to produce its behavior.
The goal is not to create a perfect real-world simulation.
The goal is to make Minecraft feel far more physically believable while still remaining Minecraft.
Because physics in Minecraft should be fun — not a university exam.
🌍 A Different Minecraft
Physic Core is built around one simple idea:
The world should react to what is actually happening in it.
Items should feel different depending on their physical properties.
Heat should behave like heat.
Electricity should behave like electricity.
Fire should react to its environment.
Weather should feel alive.
And materials should matter.
Physic Core brings all of that together into one system designed to make Minecraft's world feel more physical, dynamic and alive.
