Personal Space Unofficial 1.20.1 Forge 0.4.0

This update focuses on server performance, Personal Space protection, dimension lifecycle management, and maintenance tools for existing worlds.

Highlights

  • Added automatic unloading of inactive Personal Space dimensions.
  • Added a configurable inactivity timeout before a dimension is unloaded.
  • Personal Space dimensions remain loaded while players are inside or while active FTB Chunks force-loaded chunks are present.
  • Added protection for player-owned and FTB Teams-owned Personal Space dimensions.
  • Added migration and maintenance tools for dimensions created by older versions.
  • Improved GTCEu / GregTech Odyssey compatibility and repair tools.

New Features

  • Added automatic unloading for inactive Personal Space dimensions.

    • By default, a dimension can be unloaded after 5 minutes without players.
    • The unload delay is configurable.
    • Dimensions with active FTB Chunks force-loaded chunks are not unloaded.

  • Added a migration system for existing Personal Space dimensions to support the new lazy-loading and unloading system.

  • Added Personal Space protection.

    • Block breaking and placement are restricted to the dimension owner.
    • Members of the owner's FTB Team are also allowed.
    • Server operators and players with LuckPerms "personalspace.bypass.protection" can bypass the protection.
    • Protection also applies to block interactions and modification actions.

  • Added GTCEu bedrock fluid rebuild tools for existing Personal Space dimensions.

  • Added server administration and diagnostic commands for:

    • Migrating existing dimensions.
    • Checking the lazy-loading system status.
    • Rebuilding GTCEu bedrock fluids.
    • Viewing loaded chunk information.

Fixes

  • Fixed a server crash that could occur when AE2 attempted to access or modify an unloaded Personal Space dimension.
  • Fixed Personal Space dimensions associated with player names beginning with an underscore.
  • Fixed several block breaking and placement protection issues.
  • Fixed additional GTCEu / GregTech Odyssey compatibility issues.
  • Fixed localization issues.
  • Improved handling of existing Personal Space dimensions when rebuilding GTCEu bedrock fluid data.
