eroxide — the memory half of Hydrazine.
Hydrazine makes rendering cheaper. Peroxide keeps the rest of the game steady: it governs memory usage, garbage collection, and frame pacing so a long session doesn't degrade into stutter and hitches.
What it does
- Memory/GC governor — keeps heap pressure under control without constant collection pauses
- Idle GC — garbage collection is only scheduled when the frame budget isn't at risk, so you keep your FPS
- FPS-aware particle scaling — particle load scales to what your machine is actually delivering instead of a fixed cap
- Latency-only autosave spacing — autosave timing adapts to keep chunk I/O off the render thread; your world data is untouched
- In-game performance HUD — live view of memory, GC activity and frame timing
- Small GUI — tweak the governor without editing config files by hand
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.18.4+
- Fabric API
- Hydrazine (recommended — Peroxide is built to sit alongside it)
