PENUMBRA PHANTASM is a mod that aims to bring content from DELTARUNE to Minecraft.

The mod primarily focuses on the Dark Fountains and their Dark Worlds from DELTARUNE, while also putting its own spin on things and include custom, yet still thematically-aligned content, to make the mod feel more coherent and the Dark Worlds more alive. Currently, there is only one canon Dark World in the mod - Card Kingdom, which is still in development.

Dark Fountains in the mod behave very closely to how they behave in DELTARUNE - You need DETERMINATION to make or seal a Dark Fountain. When made, the darkness gradually fills the room and send everyone to the Dark World, Great Doors can be used to travel back to the Light World without having to seal the Fountain, and also to travel to the adjacent Dark World. In a Dark World, its Fountain is always visible from any distance and has two variants depending on how close you are. Every Dark World has its own seed and can be reopened, and the Light and Dark World inventories are separated for different progression.

THE DEPTHS are also present in the mod, being the very place all darkness the Fountains spew originates from. There, you can find all existing Fountains in all dimensions and travel to their respective Dark Worlds, all while your DETERMINATION is steadily declining.

Datapacks can be used to add new custom Dark Worlds, Light World <-> Dark World item conversion, and dictating which items persist between both.

Goals of the mod is to bring all Dark Worlds from DELTARUNE into Minecraft, and that will be done so on a per-chapter basis. Some things that are planned are - Darkners, DELTARUNE-like storyline, turn-based combat system with 3D bullet hell, and much more.
