Breaking blocks mostly spawns a random mob, but there exists a small chance for placing another random block , or some other event (xp, primed tnt, etc).

Breaking any block gives additional 20xp.

Extra Details:

Mobs are spawned with the 'Natural' tag, which means zombies will have a chance to be a baby, or spiders will have a chance to be with potion effects, etc. Slime & Magma cube sizes are random based on natural spawning.
