Peaks & Talons Core 0.4.1-beta.41
Tools tab (new)
- A third tab next to Paths and Class Skills. Spend Tool Points to unlock 25 utility and tech mods in five groups: QOL, Storage Wars, Tech, Production and Mob Management.
- Earn progress by finishing quests (story quests count more) or by turning in XP with the "1 Level" and "All XP" buttons. Hover the progress bar to see the rates.
- Each mod you buy in a group makes the others in that group cost a little more. Teams share one pool of Tool Points (FTB Teams), and price increases count double for a team.
- Locked mods can't be crafted. Their questlines stay hidden until unlocked. Waystones and wild bee nests already in the world can't be used or broken until you unlock them.
- Quests completed before this update count toward your progress once.
Skills screen
- Paths, Class Skills and Tools now share one window frame, tab row and night-sky backdrop, so the three tabs look like one screen.
Quest book
- The book opens zoomed out, so a whole questline fits on screen.
- Every chapter page has the Peaks & Talons frame: slate-and-gold border, eagle-and-mountain medallions on the corners, the winged gem crest and two Orduks keeping watch.
- Section titles use metallic logo-style lettering, and the pages have item artwork beside each questline.
Other
- With Create installed, a Crushing Wheel turns one Eagle Talon into two Eagle Talon Chunks.
