This is my very first Client-Side Minecraft Mod!
What I did was I created a new block called the "test_explode" block. When you run the mod, it will create a new category in your inventory called "SARAH".
Steps to trying it out:
1. Type 'e' to open your inventory.
2. Click on the right arrow at the top.
3. Click on the new category called "SARAH".
4. You should see my colorful new block, you can bring it down to your hotbar.
5. You can place the block in your world, and then when you right-click it, it will disappear!
I know this mod isn't that cool yet - but I plan on making a bunch more items and blocks that do a ton of stuff - this is just an alpha to see how it works and get your opinions and feedback! :D
I used LearnToMod to build it, and they exported it for me so that I could load it here on Curse!
If you want to try it out and give me feedback, it's super easy!
1. Install the LearnToMod Client-Side Mod from here. This installs the correct version of Forge for you!
2. Download the Jar File and move my mod (called curseMod.jar) into your mods folder!
3. When you open Minecraft, make sure you choose the Learn To Mod profile and it will work!
HINT: Single-player - Creative is the best way to run it.
There will be some over jars and things in your mods folder from the LearnToMod Mod Installer, so just leave them all there :)
