Paradigm Realms

Give every player a permanent place to call home, while keeping the world outside fresh and full of adventure.

Paradigm Realms is a server-side mod for creating protected personal realms from configurable presets, alongside a shared Wilds world designed for exploration and periodic resets.

Players do not need Paradigm Realms installed on their client.

Your own little realm

Every player can create their own protected realm, a permanent space for building, storage, farms, machines, or anything else they would rather not lose during an exploration-world reset.

Realms include:

Owners, members, and visitors
Public or private access
Invitations and member management
Safe teleportation
Persistent spawn points
Protection from unauthorized building and interaction

Keep it private, invite your friends, or open it for visitors. Your realm, your rules :3

Realm presets

New realms are created from configurable server-defined presets.

Servers can use built-in starter layouts or import their own islands, plots, platforms, and bases.

Supported import formats include:

Sponge .schem
Legacy WorldEdit/MCEdit .schematic
Litematica .litematic
Vanilla structure .nbt

Imported presets are validated before use, keeping placement contained within the assigned realm and preventing unsafe content from slipping through.

The Wilds

The Wilds are a shared world made for exploration, resources, structures, mobs, and temporary adventures.

Unlike personal realms, the Wilds can be regenerated without affecting permanent player bases.

This makes Paradigm Realms a natural fit for:

Survival servers
Cobblemon servers
Large modpacks
Technical servers
Community SMPs
Servers with renewable resource worlds

Build safely at home, then wander off into the Wilds and cause problems responsibly.

Built-in protection

Realm boundaries and access rules are enforced directly by the server.

Protection covers common interactions such as:

Breaking and placing blocks
Containers and buckets
Entity interactions
Explosions
Pistons crossing realm boundaries
Unauthorized entry into private realms

Administrators can use an explicit session-only bypass when maintenance is required.

Optional Paradigm integration

When Paradigm is installed, Paradigm Realms can integrate with its:

Permission API
Message formatting
Placeholder API

Paradigm is completely optional. Paradigm Realms also works as a standalone mod.

Server-side only

Players do not need Paradigm Realms installed client-side.

They only need the normal mods required by the server or modpack. Paradigm Realms does not add custom client-side blocks, items, screens, keybinds, or networking requirements.
