What's new

Pandora AntiCheat 1.5.0.

Gameplay improvements and fixes

  • Movement: improved handling of normal and boosted jumps, slime/bed bounces, Slow Falling, water, elytra and knockback. Each context receives the allowances it needs while unrelated checks remain active.
  • NoFall: improved fall-damage prediction for vanilla rules, potion effects, landing surfaces, damage immunity and fall events cancelled by other mods.
  • Combat and interactions: added close-range visibility checks for attacks, mining and block/entity interactions, with improved hitbox handling for partially visible targets.
  • Mining: corrected START/STOP/ABORT tracking and preserved valid mining timing during movement refreshes, including grace periods and server stalls.
  • Respawn: cleared timers from the previous player entity while keeping the player's current violation level (VL).
  • Timer: used heartbeat arrival times to prevent queued packets after server stalls from creating timing false positives.
  • Mod compatibility: preserved trusted Forge FakePlayer automation.

Security and enforcement

  • Made verification challenges single-use and tightened handling of replayed, expired and malformed requests. Device signals are saved only after validation succeeds.
  • Added stricter packet-size limits and bounded processing for security/mining packet bursts. Session timeouts no longer depend on wall-clock changes.
  • Prevented client reports from adding new identifiers to existing hardware-ban (HWID) records. Bans also remain bound to the originating account UUID when reported device hashes change.
  • Made gameplay enforcement consistently respect the global toggle, disabled checks, sandbox mode and cancelled API violation events. Required verification holds players at a fixed baseline and blocks unverified gameplay.

Player data and configuration

  • Recent VL now survives reconnects, with one VL removed per five offline seconds. The retention window defaults to 600 seconds; set violationRetentionSeconds to 0 to disable restoration.
  • Invalid or unsupported databases are preserved, with repair backups and a visible startup error instead of silently discarding stored bans. Improved background saves and shutdown flushing.
  • Updated to config schema 9 and datastore schema 4, preserving existing settings, profiles and bans. Hardware activity does not refresh the separate VL retention timestamp.
