Overview

PassiveUntilProvoked changes hostile mob behavior so they ignore players until attacked. Combat is now player-initiated while preserving full vanilla aggression once provoked.

Features

  • Hostile mobs do not target or attack players by default
  • Mobs immediately retaliate when attacked
  • Creepers do not swell unless provoked
  • Skeletons do not shoot unless provoked
  • Zombies do not chase unless provoked
  • Endermen retain vanilla behavior by default
  • Boss mobs excluded from changes by default

Configuration

  • Configurable options for:
    • Boss exclusion
    • Modded mob support
    • Group aggression behavior
    • Aggro radius
    • Creeper and Enderman behavior

Stability

  • Lightweight, event-driven implementation
  • No invasive AI modifications
  • Tested across core hostile mob types

Notes

This is the first stable public release. Further updates will expand configurability and improve compatibility with edge-case modded AI behaviors.
