Initial full release for NeoForge 1.20.1.
Overview
PassiveUntilProvoked changes hostile mob behavior so they ignore players until attacked. Combat is now player-initiated while preserving full vanilla aggression once provoked.
Features
- Hostile mobs do not target or attack players by default
- Mobs immediately retaliate when attacked
- Creepers do not swell unless provoked
- Skeletons do not shoot unless provoked
- Zombies do not chase unless provoked
- Endermen retain vanilla behavior by default
- Boss mobs excluded from changes by default
Configuration
- Configurable options for:
- Boss exclusion
- Modded mob support
- Group aggression behavior
- Aggro radius
- Creeper and Enderman behavior
Stability
- Lightweight, event-driven implementation
- No invasive AI modifications
- Tested across core hostile mob types
Notes
This is the first stable public release. Further updates will expand configurability and improve compatibility with edge-case modded AI behaviors.
