# OWO Feel (Forge)
**Feel Minecraft on your OWO haptic skin.** A client-side Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. It sends sensations to the MyOWO app when things happen to you in game.
> Unofficial community mod. Not affiliated with or endorsed by OWO. The MyOWO app shows it as "Unknown game", which is normal for community mods.
## What you feel
| Feeling | When | Where on the suit |
|---|---|---|
| Hit | A mob or player hits you | The side it came from: front, back, left or right |
| Arrow | Arrows, tridents, bee stingers | The side it came from |
| Explosion | One very big hit (creeper, TNT, crystal) | Whole suit |
| Hard landing | Falling 4+ blocks (stronger the higher you fall) | Stomach and lower back |
| Fire / Lava | Burning, or swimming in lava | Torso / whole suit, repeating |
| Freezing | Standing in powder snow | Shivers |
| Cold water | Water in snowy or cold biomes | A shock when you enter, then a chill |
| Drowning | Running out of air | Tight chest and gasps, getting stronger |
| Poison / Wither | While the effect is active | Stomach / back |
| Low health | 3 hearts or less | Heartbeat on the left chest, getting faster |
| Death | You die | Whole suit, then it fades |
| Attack / Bow | Hitting something, releasing a bow or firing a crossbow | Arms |
## Features
- **In-game settings screen:** **Options → OWO Haptics...** or **Mods → OWO Feel → Config**.
- Turn every feeling on or off and set its strength. A **Try** button lets you feel each one instantly.
- Set a master strength, and enter the app's IP or let the mod find it automatically.
- **Status dot on the HUD:**
- green = connected
- lime = the app was found but hasn't accepted Minecraft yet
- yellow = searching
- gray = haptics off
- It flashes white each time a sensation is sent.
- **Client-side only:** works in singleplayer and on any server, including vanilla servers.
- **Keybinds:** **O** toggles haptics. Optional keys open the settings, stop all sensations, or send a test pulse.
## Requirements
- Minecraft **1.20.1** with **Forge 47.x**
- An **OWO Skin** and the **MyOWO app** (PC or phone) on the same network as Minecraft
## Setup
1. Install the mod like any other Forge mod.
2. Open MyOWO and connect your suit.
3. Start Minecraft. The status dot in the top-left turns **green** when MyOWO accepts the game.
4. Press **Try** next to any feeling in **Options → OWO Haptics...** to test it.
## Troubleshooting
- **The dot is yellow forever:** type the IP of the device running MyOWO into the settings screen. Use `127.0.0.1` if MyOWO runs on the same PC.
- **The dot stays lime:** MyOWO can see Minecraft but hasn't accepted it. Restart MyOWO, make sure the suit is connected there, then press **Reconnect**.
- **The dot stays lime with the phone app:** some versions of the MyOWO phone app don't accept community mods. Use **MyOWO for PC** instead, with the suit connected to it over Bluetooth, and set the IP to `127.0.0.1` (or use Auto-detect).
- **Green, but you feel nothing:** raise the strength in the settings screen, and check that MyOWO's own intensity isn't at 0.
- **Still stuck:** turn on **Debug log** in the settings and check `logs/latest.log` for lines starting with `OWO`.
