✨ What is OriginsX Looks?

OriginsX Looks is a massive visual expansion for the OriginsX ecosystem. Have you ever created a custom race and thought, "I wish my angel race actually had a glowing halo" or "My king race needs a cape and a crown"? Now you can do exactly that!

This add-on allows you to attach custom 3D cosmetics, capes, and particle effects directly to your custom races. Best of all? You don't need to know how to code. Everything is done through a beautiful, built-in visual editor right inside the game.

🎨 The In-Game Visual Editor

We’ve built a powerful, modular workspace so you can design your race's look effortlessly.

• Fully Customizable UI (Ctrl+L): Press Ctrl+L to enter Layout Mode. In this mode, you can drag, drop, and resize any UI panel on your screen. Build a workspace that feels comfortable for you!

• Live 3D Preview: As you tweak colors, sizes, and positions, your character updates instantly in the viewport.

• The Properties Panel: On the right side of your screen, you have full control. Adjust the exact X/Y/Z position, rotate parts, scale them up or down, and manage everything from a single scrollable menu.

🎭 Presets, Animations & Effects

You don't need to build everything from scratch. The mod comes packed with features to make your race look stunning instantly:

• Instant Presets: With a single click, you can add pre-made cosmetic parts to your character. Choose from Capes, Crowns, Halos, Masks, Emblems, and Shoulder pads.

• Dynamic Animations: Static cosmetics are boring! You can bring your parts to life by adding animations. Make your halo spin (Rotation Speed), make an emblem float up and down (Bobbing Amplitude), or make a gem throb with magic (Pulsing).

• True Glow (Fullbright): Want your magical parts to shine in the dark? Apply the "Glow" effect!

• Advanced Color Picker: Pick the exact hex code or use the HSB slider to get the perfect color for your cosmetics.

• Morphing Immersion: Morphing into your race now feels impactful, complete with customizable visual particles and sound effects!

⚙️ Advanced Tools for Creators

For players who love to get into the details, we’ve added tools to make your workflow incredibly smooth:

• Layer Control (zIndex): Having clipping issues? Simply adjust the layer order to control exactly which part renders on top of another.

• Smart Lighting Preview: When you apply "Glow" to a part, the editor will temporarily dim the rest of your character so you can clearly see how the glowing effect looks.

• Quick Actions: Save time with 1-click tools! Instantly Mirror parts across your character, snap them to the Center, Duplicate them, or Reset their transforms.

• Copy & Paste: Made a really cool cosmetic setup? You can copy and paste the entire configuration to another race instantly!

• Visibility Toggles: Hide specific parts while you work on others to keep your screen clutter-free.
