I tried making an Origin race for the protogen here are the effects it might get updated in the future if it does not work.
[Level 2 impact]
Positive
Sturdy Frame: A good part of you is light Metal and so you are slightly faster than normal and have armor by default.
Emergency Nanoshield: When low on Health gain a small amount of protection in form of a glowing shield around you.
Neutral
[Active ability] Visor: Lets you see in the dark for a while and protects you against some negative efffects.
Smaller size: You are a litlle Shorter than a normal player.
Negative
Small: As you are a little smaller also means that you have 2 less hearts.
Lots of Fur: you are a fluffy creature with alot of fur which means you will be slowed, weakend and slowely take damage overtime in water and rain.
Warm fur and part metal: as you are very warm and some parts of you are metal means that you will overheat in warm biomes and will set on fire.
