OreUnifier 1.1.0 — Expanded Material & Alloy Support

Minecraft 26.3 | NeoForge

OreUnifier 1.1.0 is here! This major feature update significantly expands material compatibility, introduces ten additional material forms, improves alloy recognition, and makes managing duplicate resources across modpacks easier than ever.

What's New

10 New Material Forms!

OreUnifier now recognizes 15 material forms, up from five in the previous release.

Newly supported forms:

  • Clumps

  • Crystals

  • Shards

  • Dirty Dusts

  • Plates

  • Gears

  • Rods

  • Wires

  • Small Dusts

  • Tiny Dusts

All ten new forms support material discovery, independent provider selection, and canonical tag generation.

Existing support for ingots, nuggets, dusts, raw materials, and storage blocks remains intact.

Improved Alloy Compatibility

Expanded dynamic material discovery improves recognition of industrial materials and alloys across installed mods.

  • Improved handling of alloy material identities.

  • Better separation of similarly named but distinct materials.

  • Safer detection of equivalent material candidates.

  • Protection against incorrect cross-material conversions.

  • Support for common c and legacy forge material tags, plus verified additional processing-form tag conventions.

OreUnifier keeps steel, stainless steel, bronze, and other distinct material identities separate rather than guessing equivalence from their names.

Improved Material Management GUI

Managing large numbers of materials is now easier with:

  • Expanded scrolling material and form lists.

  • Independent provider choices for every supported form.

  • Search by material and provider.

  • Detailed tooltips showing full item IDs and provider information.

  • Improved keyboard and mouse navigation.

  • Better support for smaller screen sizes.

Open the interface using:

/oreunifier gui

Safer Datapack Generation

OreUnifier now distinguishes between discovering an equivalent material and safely generating a crafting conversion.

  • Generates canonical tags for supported, verified material forms.

  • Creates 1:1 crafting conversions only for eligible, unambiguous forms.

  • Prevents self-conversions and unsafe cross-material conversions.

  • Excludes new industrial processing forms from automatic crafting conversions to avoid bypassing machine progression.

  • Preserves unrelated datapacks and files during export and re-export.

Compatibility & Reliability

  • Preserves existing saved profiles and valid provider selections.

  • Supports older five-form profiles without requiring a manual migration.

  • Maintains server-authoritative scanning.

  • Retains multiplayer permission enforcement for Save and Export.

  • Adds stronger handling of ambiguous material identities and malformed network data.

  • Preserves saved selections across rescans and full server restarts.

Testing & Validation

OreUnifier 1.1.0 completed extensive automated and real-game testing.

  • 61 unit tests passed.

  • 5 fixture GameTests passed on NeoForge 26.3.0.76 and 26.3.0.92.

  • Additional real-provider GameTest passed on 26.3.0.92.

  • Verified 41 materials, 90 material/form entries, and 95 candidates in a representative mod environment.

  • Tested the production JAR in a normal Minecraft client and dedicated multiplayer server.

  • Verified real Survival crafting conversions, datapack reload, active re-export, and full restart persistence.

  • Verified server-side permissions, including live permission revocation.

  • Confirmed filesystem integrity and preservation of existing configuration data.

Known Limitations

  • Some crafting conversions may overlap with existing mod recipes.

  • Newly added processing forms are available for discovery, selection, and canonical tags, but do not generate automatic crafting conversions.

  • Metal clumps and several specialized processing forms have source/automated-test coverage but await testing with additional compatible real-world providers.

  • OreUnifier does not automatically rewrite third-party machine recipes, loot tables, or existing inventories.

  • Generated crafting conversions do not preserve arbitrary custom item components.

Requirements

  • Minecraft: 26.3

  • Mod Loader: NeoForge

  • Tested NeoForge: 26.3.0.92

  • Minimum NeoForge: 26.3.0.76

  • Java: 25

  • Multiplayer: Install on both client and server.
