OREBOUND Core 0.1.3

This update improves the opening Resource Seam progression and adds a complete native bulk-compression system for the enormous amounts of stone produced throughout OREBOUND.

Starter Iron Improvements

The Origin now contains significantly more guaranteed Iron.

• Increased guaranteed starter Iron Ore from 4 → 10 blocks.

• Provides enough Iron for the complete first Resource Seam setup:

  • Prospector's Hammer
  • Iron Pickaxe
  • Mechanical Miner

• Leaves a small Iron safety margin for the player.

• Existing worlds safely receive the additional starter Iron where the original ore wall remains untouched.

This removes the possibility of players becoming stuck before they can begin Resource Seam mining.

Bulk Compression System

Added native OREBOUND compressed storage blocks.

Supported vanilla materials:

• Cobblestone
• Stone
• Gravel
• Sand
• Dirt
• Cobbled Deepslate
• Tuff

Every material supports two compression levels:

9 Base Blocks → 1 Compressed Block

9 Compressed Blocks → 1 Double Compressed Block

All recipes are completely reversible with no material loss.

A single Double Compressed block stores the equivalent of 81 normal blocks.

A full stack stores 5,184 blocks.

Full OREBOUND Strata Compression

The compression system now extends through the entire OREBOUND geological progression.

Added Compressed and Double Compressed variants for:

• Compact Stone
• Dense Stone
• Deepstone
• Ancient Rock
• Abyssal Stone
• Corestone
• Worldstone

This allows players to efficiently store the enormous amounts of geological material generated while expanding through deeper OREBOUND layers.

Mining Power Integration

Compressed OREBOUND strata preserve the Mining Power requirements of their source material.

• Compact Stone — Mining Power 2
• Dense Stone — Mining Power 3
• Deepstone — Mining Power 4
• Ancient Rock — Mining Power 5
• Abyssal Stone — Mining Power 6
• Corestone — Mining Power 6
• Worldstone — Mining Power 6

Compressed blocks cannot be used to bypass normal mining progression.

OREBOUND 0.1.3 makes early Seam progression more reliable while giving large mining operations a much better way to manage thousands of blocks of excavation material.
