Ore Generator Mod enhances the classic Minecraft cobblestone generator by allowing it to generate different ores instead of cobblestone, each with its own percentage-based chance.

Designed with progression and balance in mind, this mod is a perfect fit for modpacks, skyblock-style gameplay, and automation-focused worlds.

⚙️ How Does It Work?

🪨 Build a standard cobblestone generator (water + lava)
⛏️ Mine the generated block as usual
🎲 The block may turn into an ore instead of cobblestone, based on configured chances

Each block is rolled independently, ensuring fair and predictable randomness.

🔧 Configuration

All ore chances can be customized via a Forge config file.

📝 Configuration Highlights:

Separate percentage value for each ore
Valid range: 0 – 100
Changes can be applied without restarting the game

Perfect for fine-tuning progression and balance in modpacks.

💬 Commands

The mod provides built-in commands for easy management and configuration:

🟢 /oregen chance

Displays the current percentage chance for each configured ore
✅ Available to all players
❌ Does not require any permissions

🔄 /oregen reload

Reloads the config in real time
No restart required for the server or client
🔒 Requires permission level 2 (OP)

This allows server administrators to safely adjust balance while still giving all players access to information.
