Ore & Elemental Golems adds 14 new golems to Minecraft, built the classic way: stack the blocks in a T shape and top it with a carved pumpkin. The vanilla Iron Golem is untouched.
Every golem has its own 3D model, animations, stats and special ability:
- Coal: Ignites enemies with its fists.
- Copper: Shocks nearby enemies, more strongly in storms.
- Gold: Strikes twice as fast and can stun.
- Lapis: Fires magical bolts from range.
- Redstone: Charges up, then releases an electric pulse.
- Emerald: Raises an aura that gives allies Resistance and Regeneration.
- Diamond: Hits hard and raises a crystal shield when hurt or surrounded.
- Netherite: Immune to fire and knockback, and slams the ground with both fists.
- Amethyst: Fires a sonic wave in a line.
- Obsidian: Cannot be pushed, is blast-proof, and taunts monsters onto itself.
- Crying Obsidian: Bursts with dark energy that damages and slows enemies.
- Prismarine: Shoots water jets and grows stronger in water or rain.
- Quartz: Emits a radiant pulse that burns the undead and makes enemies glow.
- TNT: Flashes a warning, then blows up hostile mobs. It harms no allies and breaks no blocks by default.
Golems defend villagers, their builder and themselves, and never attack players, animals or other golems. Right-click a golem with its own material to repair it.
An in-game Golem Codex book (craftable from a book and a carved pumpkin) shows how to build every golem and what it does. Drops are balanced so valuable materials can’t be farmed or duplicated.
