Important Notice
This Agreement constitutes a legal agreement between you and Star Carefree ("SC") regarding the use of SC works. It aims to clarify intellectual property rights, regulate usage behavior, and define the rights and obligations of both parties. Please read this Agreement in its entirety before using any SC work. Your use of the works shall be deemed as acceptance of all terms herein. If you do not agree, do not use the works.

Chapter 1: Definitions and Terms

SC Works
Refers to digital creations independently developed or authorized by Star Carefree for Minecraft, including but not limited to: software, mods, plugins, maps, resource packs, behavior packs, code, art assets, audio, video, and other digital works. This encompasses official releases, beta versions, and derivative content.

User
Any individual, legal entity, or organization that acquires, installs, uses, distributes, or displays SC works through official channels.

Commercial Use
Any activity aimed at obtaining economic benefits directly or indirectly, including but not limited to: selling, leasing, advertising placement, paid subscriptions, commercial performances, or use in for-profit projects.

Derivative Works
New content created by adapting, translating, modifying, or building upon SC works, including but not limited to: mod derivatives, map adaptations, asset derivatives, etc.

Content Creator
Individuals or teams who publicly display SC works through videos, live streams, articles, etc., including but not limited to streamers, YouTubers, and social media creators.

Chapter 2: Intellectual Property Terms

2.1 Rights Ownership
- All intellectual property rights (including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets) in SC works belong exclusively to Star Carefree or its licensors. Users receive only the limited usage rights expressly granted herein.
- Third-party materials within SC works (e.g., open-source components) are governed by their own licenses, which users must comply with.

2.2 License Scope
Non-Commercial License: Users may download, install, and run SC works for personal learning, research, or entertainment purposes. Unmodified official versions may be shared non-commercially, provided all original copyright notices and identifiers remain intact.

Commercial Use Prohibition: Without prior written authorization from SC, any commercial use of SC works or derivatives is strictly prohibited, including:
- Incorporating works/assets into paid software/services
- Using SC elements in commercial advertising/exhibitions
- Developing paid mods or products based on SC works

Chapter 3: User Rights and Obligations

3.1 Fair Use Rules
Users may make non-substantive modifications (e.g., personal configurations) in non-commercial environments. When distributing modified versions, changes must not:
- Compromise integrity or core functionality
- Remove or alter copyright notices
- Introduce malware or security vulnerabilities

3.2 Derivative Work Standards
Non-commercial derivative works are permitted under these conditions:
- Clearly credit the original work and SC copyright
- Avoid misleading representations of official endorsement
- Distribute independently (not bundled with official releases)

If derivatives involve open-source SC projects (e.g., MIT/GPL-licensed code), comply with the relevant license. Conflicts between licenses shall be resolved in favor of the project-specific license.

3.3 Prohibited Activities
The following activities are expressly forbidden:
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or cracking SC works
- Plagiarism: Copying core architecture, designs, or story elements to create substantially similar content
- Brand Misappropriation: Unauthorized use of "Star Carefree" branding
- Unofficial Distribution: Sharing modified/pirated versions through unofficial channels

Chapter 4: Content Creator Terms

4.1 Recording and Display Authorization
- Free License: SC grants content creators a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to record, edit, publish, and publicly share content featuring SC works, regardless of monetization.

License Conditions:
- Prominently display the work's name and official links (e.g., video intro/description)
- No malicious edits or misrepresentative displays
- No claims of original authorship of SC works

4.2 Monetization Guidelines
- Ad Revenue: Creators may earn revenue from platform ad-sharing without additional SC permission.
- Paywalled Content: SC works must not be the core offering of paid exclusives, but may appear in free content containing sponsorships.
- Brand Partnerships: Written authorization is required for promotional campaigns using SC branding.

Chapter 5: Liability and Disclaimers

5.1 Unofficial Content Risks
- Users bear all risks from unofficial/modified SC works. SC disclaims liability for device damage, data loss, or privacy breaches resulting therefrom.
- Technical support applies only to official releases.

5.2 Disclaimer of Warranties
- SC works are provided "AS IS" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
- SC shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits/data) except where legally mandated.

5.3 Termination
Violations result in immediate termination of usage rights without notice. Users must delete all copies of SC works and derivatives upon termination.

Chapter 6: Miscellaneous

6.1 Agreement Modifications
- SC reserves modification rights. Changes become effective after official announcement.
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

6.2 Governing Law
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan).
- Disputes shall be resolved by courts in SC's primary operational jurisdiction.
- Invalid provisions shall be reformed to nearest valid interpretation.

6.3 Supplementary Agreements
- Specific SC works may have separate licenses, which take precedence. Conflict resolution rules will be specified upon release.

Final Declaration
