Jaded 1.1 | What's New

This update brings a new redstone indicator, expanded Icon Studio customization, easier settings navigation, visual improvements, and performance fixes for both Fabric and NeoForge.

New Features

• Redstone Power Indicator: See how much redstone power a block is receiving or emitting. A redstone dust icon displays the detected power level from 1–15 in its bottom-right corner. Unpowered blocks show nothing.

• 27 Contextual Indicators: Jaded now includes 27 gameplay indicators, up from 26 in version 1.0.

• Icon Studio Favorites: Right-click any icon to add it to your Favorites. Right-click again to remove it. Use the ★ Favorites button to quickly browse your saved icons.

• Expanded Icon Browser: Search and browse vanilla items, modded items, sprites, particles, effects, and icons from different namespaces.

• Recently Used Icons: Quickly find icons you've used previously.

• Mouse-Wheel Navigation: Scroll through pages in Feature Settings without using the page buttons. Category dropdowns can also be scrolled independently.

Visual & Customization Improvements

• New Mod Icon: Jaded now displays its emerald artwork in the Minecraft Mods list.

• Improved Icon Studio: Cleaner category dropdowns, improved layouts, and easier access to favorite icons.

• Custom Themes: Additional options for personalizing Icon Studio's appearance.

• Refined Credits: A smaller, animated author credit appears beneath Snownee's original credit in Jade's settings.

• Smoother Hover Effects: Credit text and hearts brighten together when hovered.

Fixes & Performance

• Fixed stray symbols and misplaced graphics appearing inside Icon Studio dropdowns.

• Improved Icon Studio responsiveness, particularly when browsing large collections of modded items.

• Improved compatibility with modded items that provide unusual or invalid display names.

• Reduced unnecessary background processing and repeated icon catalogue operations.

• Improved resource and registry handling for larger modpacks.

• Fixed deprecated mod-icon metadata warnings on NeoForge.

• Improved launcher and compatibility handling for supported Fabric Loader versions.
