Onward Maxed Librarians makes newly generated librarian enchanted-book offers use the enchantment’s maximum level. The enchantment stays random—you just won’t roll a lower-level version of it!
Find books such as Protection IV, Sharpness V, Efficiency V, Unbreaking III, and Mending I without combining lower-level books.

Maximum-level books: Every newly generated librarian book offer uses the selected enchantment’s maximum level.

Existing trades stay unchanged: Previously generated offers keep their enchantments and levels, including after restocking.

Works with new offers: Includes books unlocked when librarians level up and offers generated when rerolling an unlocked librarian.

Vanilla pricing rules: Prices still depend on the enchantment and its level, with normal discounts and demand.

Normal enchantment selection: Uses the listing’s eligible enchantment pool. Curses can still appear, and single-level enchantments remain level I.

Focused changes: Other villager professions, loot books, and enchanting tables are unaffected.

Simple setup: No commands or configuration required.
This mod does not turn every trade slot into an enchanted-book offer—it maximizes the level whenever a new librarian book offer is generated.
Requirements: Minecraft Java 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.172 or later within 21.1.x, and Java 21.
Installation: Place the mod’s JAR in your profile’s mods folder, launch Minecraft, and generate new librarian offers.
