What's new

Version 5.0.0 — a thank-you for the 2,000+ downloads across both platforms! Major changes!

Added

  • Several executions of the same timer at once: shared gives everyone one clock, each gives every player their own (/timer start)
  • Audiences: an execution can be for everybody, for a list of players or for a selector such as @a[team=red]
  • In-game admin panel with /timer gui: executions, timers and settings, with a full-screen editor for everything a timer has
  • Combinable trigger conditions: any of them, all of them at once, or at least N, each watching whoever you choose
  • A pause per command instead of one figure for the whole timer
  • Visual placement screen for the CUSTOM position, with a live preview of the counter
  • Hide during cooldown, per timer and as a server default
  • /timer confirm, asked before creating more executions at once than the configured threshold

Changed

  • Cloth Config and ModMenu are no longer used or required; every setting lives in the in-game panel
  • Every setting a counter draws with belongs to that counter: the twelve display values are copied when it is created, so changing a server default now only affects new timers
  • The finish command is one entry in the command list rather than a field of its own, and a timer may have none
  • Conditions folded into /timer trigger; every trigger says whether it starts or ends the timer
  • Breaking: the WebSocket feed requires an access token; existing consumers will need updating
  • Breaking: the Command Delay setting is gone, replaced by the pause each command carries
  • Breaking, for mod developers: the API was rebuilt for concurrent executions and no longer carries its 4.0.0 shape
  • /timer was rewritten: one form per command, and completions that offer what the argument actually accepts
  • The web panel was rebuilt: light and dark themes, a language picker, and everything the in-game panel can do

Fixed

  • A timer with a start trigger could never fire while another timer was running
  • The NeoForge jar never contained the web panel's page, so the panel failed to open on that loader
  • The counter overlapped Jade when placed with a custom position preset
  • More than one timer's tick sound could play at once

Improved

  • Executions are sent to each player as one message per distinct view rather than one per player
  • The web panel's board is built only while somebody is watching it
